Perry, June (1927-2017)

June was born in Thessalon Ontario to Louise Towie on June 30, 1927. Shortly after moving to Kirkland Lake in 1945 she met and married her husband of 70 years, Clarence Perry. She was also an avid knitter, and enjoyed spending time knitting mittens, socks, blankets and sweaters for her family.
She is survived by her husband Clarence Perry; Ricky Groves and his wife Clarice and their children Jennifer Hartwick (John) and their children Avery and Harrison, Kristopher Groves (Candice) and their children Parker and Myles; niece Bonnie Carr her children Tyler, Travis and Tanner; nephew Lyle Groves and his daughter Morgann. June is predeceased by her sister Margaret Lampard (Groves) and her mother Louise Towie.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the amazing staff of the 4th floor and the Palliative Care team at Kirkland & District Hospital who provided such wonderful services and care to June and her family during her time there.
