Also left to mourn are brothers Brian Wilson (Sybil), Gord Wilson (Tammy), sisters Ruth Lindsay (d. Gord Lindsay) and Irene Seddon (d. Loving Nanie to Dustin (Allie), Mikey, Linden, Kiara Phippen (Richard), great Nanie to Mattias and Connor, and auntie to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents Ervine and Vera Wilson, brothers Joey (d. Trudy), Leonard (Collett), Garnet (Jan), Gary, Earl, sister Margaret (Don Bolduc), and brother-in-law Joe Rozich (d. Helen was born in South Porcupine, ON before moving to the Kirkland Lake area where she spent over 40 years serving the public in businesses such Trusslers Hardware, Reward Shoe Store, and retiring as manager of Legaré Furniture. Her family was paramount, and spending time with them made her immensely proud. Some of Helen’s passions included working in her garden, serving her community, and hard work; a value that was developed and maintained from a young age. This trait helped give her the strength needed to overcome the many obstacles faced in her later years; strength like no other.
A private family celebration of Helen’s life well-lived will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of the caring and compassionate staff at the Kirkland and District Hospital and Teck Pioneer Residence.
“Goodbyes are not forever,
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you,
Until we meet again.”
