SULLIVAN, Michael Thomas – January 29, 1942 – October 30, 2019: It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Sullivan on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Teck Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
Michael is survived by his lovingly devoted wife of 31 years Linda (nee Gerrior) and her daughters Kim Dobson (Shawn) and their daughters Briannah and Jennay; Terina Whuk and her son Connor, his sons Kerry (Sharon) and their children Jade and Liam; Tom (Heather) and their son Michael; Adam Ranger (Cynthia Beaubien); siblings Lorraine Robazza and Philip (Sandra) Sullivan and several nieces, nephews and counsins and of course his favourite dog Lady Bailee.
He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bernadette (Scully) Sullivan, his sister Patricia (Patsy) Sullivan, his brother Mark (Pat) Sullivan and his brother-in-law Rino Robazza.
Mike owned and operated “Windows, Doors & More” which he successfully ran until his retirement with his sidekick Lenny Webster (also predeceased). He loved woodworking and renovating his home with Linda making it accessible so they could reside there in their later years. He also loved listening to music with his favourite beverage on their beautiful patio which they created together. It was his paradise. He made many friends at TPR with his “gift of the gab” and his baritone voice contributing to the many sing-along’s he attended there.
The family would like to thank all of those who cared for and watched out for Mike especially his doting neighbours. We are forever grateful. In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation will take place followed by a private family gathering.
Donations can be made to Holy Name of Jesus, 39 Kirkland Street, Kirkland Lake, Ontario P2N 2G3 (please mail cheques to the address provided) or to the charity of your choice, or someone in need.
