Patricia Marie Louise Gannon
February 6, 1955 – July 16, 2020
With great sadness we announce the passing of Patti Gannon (née Champagne) after a courageous battle with cancer.
Patti was born in Toronto to the late Shirley and Paul Champagne and raised in Timmins before making her life in Kirkland Lake.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Tom, son Shawn Price (Sarah) and grandchildren Emily and Zoe as well as Sharon Turner, her close aunt.
She will be sorely missed by her aunt Alice Boulay, cousins Dawn Blair and Hope Boulay and countless friends.
Patti was best known for her gardening and landscaping skills and volunteered endless hours to the beautification of Kirkland Lake. Her legacy lives on at many parks throughout the town. In recognition of her many contributions she was awarded the CJKL Citizen of the Year Award in 2010.
Her keen sense of style was reflected in her gardens and in her homes.
She was further known for her love of animals and parented six shaggy Bouvier dogs.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date when Covid-19 rules are less restrictive.
